200 Turbot Street is one the largest development sites in Brisbane's CBD with a combined site area of 8,919m2 and frontage to Turbot Street, Wickham Terrace and Albert Street.
The NRA Collaborative has studied a number of different urban forms on this site. This proposed option included two high rise towers, with 75 and 78 levels respectively. The towers consist of hotel, commercial, residential and retail components. The existing heritage building will be retained to maintain the area’s history.
The site occupies an elevated position overlooking the Brisbane CBD. Flanked by parks on the northern, western and southern boundaries, the site provides a very attractive amenity to this iconic landmark for the City of Brisbane. This project also adjoins the proposed new Brisbane Live entertainment precinct.
