Noel Robinson Architects acted as principle consultant and architect to oversee and guide the master planning of additional outbuildings and the restoration and refurbishment of Nindooinbah Homestead, which is an elite heritage listed pastoral property designed by Robin Dods on the outskirts of Beaudesert.
A thoughtful approach to refurbishment and changes to the house and garden were required to maintain the cultural heritage significance of the homestead while allowing individual tastes and values of the new owners to be integrated into the layers of its previous history.
Extensive dialogue with the former state government Environmental Protection Agency(DERM) has allowed the next era of ownership to be represented in the fabric and the setting of the remaining buildings and new structures, which were required on the property to make it a commercial research institute for the breeding and marketing of high spec cattle.
